Garden State
I must not be part of the twenty-something demographic that has embraced Garden State as a zeitgeist-defining film. (Jonathan Kiefer writes eloquently in Maisonneuve about its appeal).
I found the film pleasant enough, at least until its crushingly sentimental ending, but it evaporated completely from my mind when I left the theater.
What did remain was the soundtrack CD, on my stereo. It's great (and honestly, I mean no disparagement here), especially for vacuuming and dishwashing.
A while back, I doodled a little handmade CD insert for it.
